Privacy policy

1. Data controller

The Discord bot Ryven is developed and operated by JusteLoneWolf. This policy describes how we collect, use and protect your data.

2. Data collected

As part of the bot’s operation, we may collect and store:

  • Discord identifiers: user ID, server ID, channel ID;
  • Profile information: username;
  • Configuration data: language, prefix, log settings and server settings;
  • Moderation data: warnings, sanctions and moderation actions;
  • Game and profile data: XP, level, reputation, game data, only if these features are used;
  • Log metadata: event summaries (category, actor, target) for configured server logs — full message content may appear in the server’s Discord log channel when an administrator enables that log type.

3. Purposes

Data is used exclusively to:

  • provide bot features: logs, moderation, profiles, game and configuration;
  • allow server management via the web dashboard;
  • maintain, secure and improve the service.

4. Legal basis

Processing is based on the legitimate interest of the Discord server owner who invited the bot, and on use of the Discord server where the bot is active.

5. Storage and security

Configuration, moderation, profile and game data is stored in a secured RethinkDB database.

We implement reasonable measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

6. Retention

  • Server data (RethinkDB): kept while the bot is on the relevant server. After the bot is removed, deletion may occur after a reasonable delay.

7. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data may only be transmitted if required by law or necessary for the technical operation of the service, including via Discord, hosting or the database.

8. Web dashboard

Dashboard login uses Discord OAuth2. No Discord password is collected. Session information is only used to verify your identity and permissions.

9. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, delete and port your personal data.
